Abstract

Entrepreneurs are mostly considered as wealth generators at the cost of society and the environment. However, a few entrepreneurs have realized that the generation of wealth is not the only objective of the enterprise but also finding solutions to social and environmental issues is the primary objective. In this regard, they have already started working towards these Triple Bottom Line objectives; acknowledging the harmony of society, nature and wealth. Sustainable entrepreneurial practices have become one of the major requirements of the world today to solve various environmental and social issues. World nations have incorporated the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs, UNDP, 2015) by United Nations in their developmental designs. Not all entrepreneurs follow sustainable entrepreneurial practices in their day-to-day operations. In this regard, the study tries to understand what factors influence entrepreneurs in following sustainable business practices and how they achieve and maintain the Triple bottom lines, i.e., people, planet and profit.
