Editorial

I am happy to present to you the Volume 3, Issue 1 of Manipal Journal of Nursing and Health Sciences, which focuses on health care related issues. The issue focuses on some of the important areas such as pre-operative intervention on post-operative behaviour among women undergoing abdominal hysterectomy, family intervention for chronic schizophrenic patients, perceived safety and mental wellbeing among the professional college students, prevalence and the contributing factors of insomnia among adolescents, level of pain during nursing procedures, child abuse and Ayurvedic approach for management of Osteoarthritis. This issue also comprises two review papers and two case reports. The invited article adds charms to this issue by highlighting on paradigm shift in nursing care. The editorial team extends its gratefulness to all the authors, who have contributed articles for this issue. We are grateful to the reviewers for their untired support rendered towards bringing out this issue.
