Abstract

The study was conducted to assess the awareness and health promotional behaviour regarding non- alcoholic fatty liver disease among female population at risk . Methods: this non- experimental research study was conducted among 149 females under risk of developing Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. Data collection tools used were a risk assessment checklist, a questionnaire to assess the knowledge and a rating scale to assess the health promotional behaviour. Results: overall awareness regarding Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease among the risk population was average (47.69%).The reported health promotional behaviour regarding Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease was good (67.03%).
