Abstract
This jointly hosted NUPI-SIPRI seminar held on 24 November 2021 discusses the challenge of getting different academic disciplines, e.g. political science and security/strategic studies on the one hand, and environmental or sustainability studies on the other, to collaborate so that we can develop a new holistic social-ecological systems approach to the challenge of preventing future wars or conflicts related to climate change or other ecological and environmental factors.
