Abstract
Beijing has developed its narrative around the idea of “One-China,” presenting the “One-China Principle” as a basic international norm. China restates this position in the context of a misreading of UN Resolution 2758. However, China’s claim is misleading, since there exist many different positions amongst different countries regarding the issue of Taiwan’s sovereignty.
