Abstract
My research focus is on social inequities in oral health, quality of life, oral health in vulnerable populations and behavioral aspects of oral health. I am also currently engaged in research on life course epidemiology and health economics in relation to oral health and tobacco. My interest in public health policy and health economics led me to develop a model for measuring tobacco dependence-related health utilities. This model provides a template for measuring the effectiveness of tobacco prevention/cessation programs using a direct econometric approach.
