Abstract

Established the preclinical screening models of osteoporosis and related postmenopausal inflammatory conditions in animals. Similarly established the models for breast cancer to screen the novel pharmaceutical formulations such as iontophoresis, nanoformulation etc. The phytochemicals such as resveratrol, fenugreek and other plant extracts have been evaluated in these models and the results were published. Further there was great interest in in silico drug screening to repurpose the existing drug to COVID-19 and Lung cancer and pulmonary fibrosis. The US-FDA approved drugs have been screened and possible drugs for COVID-19 were shortlisted using in silico tools from Schrodinger’s Suit. Currently interested in systems and network pharmacology for drug discovery and development.
