Abstract
My core areas of research are Obstructive airway diseases and Tuberculosis. Currently, we are doing a cross-sectional study to find the relationship between sleep quality and muscle function in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In another project, we looked at the utility of platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio in predicting diabetes mellitus in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The third work was on health-related quality of life among patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
In our tuberculosis-related published work titled ‘Psychological stress and health-related quality of life among tuberculosis patients: A prospective cohort study’ we looked at the psychological stress and the quality of life of individuals with tuberculosis.
