Abstract
Ultra-diluted Aconite Napellus and Ignatia Amara are used to treat neuropsychiatric diseases mainly Anxiety and depressive disorders in Homeopathic practice. These disorders are believed to be caused by the dysregulation of neurotransmitter systems, especially the GABA system. Hence this study aspires to comprehend the effect of ultra-diluted Aconite Napellus 3c and Ignatia Amara 3c on GABAergic neurons, derived from induced pluripotent stem cells. GABAergic neurons were generated from induced pluripotent stem cell culture.
The results of the above work are awaited and are yet to be published. However, few preliminary animal studies were done by administering Aconite and Ignatia on anxiety Wistar rat models. The results of behavioral and histological studies are published and the links are given below.
