Abstract
Research focuses on epidemiology and diagnosis of respiratory diseases and infections with special interest in prevalence and drug resistance in adult and pediatric tuberculosis. Currently working on establishing the association between the lung microbiome and respiratory infections. Involved in carrying out screening of pediatric contacts to estimate the burden of pediatric tuberculosis in districts of Karnataka. Studying various challenges from grass-root levels to tertiary care-hospital with respect to diagnosis, drug resistance and treatment of respiratory infections.
