Digital revolution during COVID-19 era

Abstract

Triaging is of utmost importance in any pandemic and is essential in the present COVID-19 times when we are witnessing an enormous number of our population being affected by the novel coronavirus. Further, it is important to acknowledge the varied spectrum of manifestations among our patients with each patient needing a tailored protocol and facilitating in gaining an understanding of the epidemiology and disease pathophysiology. The rapid spread of COVID-19 and shortage of health care personnel in a developing country like India needs immediate and effective health technology to triage COVID suspects thereby reducing doctor – suspects’ contact and monitor the progression of disease burden in the meantime.
