Abstract
We report a case of thickening of Tensor Fascia Lata (TFL), which was observed in a cadaver. In this case, TFL muscle fibers were crossing from the medial to lateral side with normal origin and got inserted into the upper part, just above the medial half of the Iliotibial tract as well as the Fascial Lata anteriorly. Here, we report the morphometric dimensions of the TFL muscles in this case. These hypertrophies are benign conditions, which are clinically mistaken for a tumor. We believe that reporting of this case is enlightening to the operating surgeon and anatomist. This has implications in the field of plastic surgery and orthopedic surgery.
