Editorial

The health and wellbeing of population can be improved through many ways. Services can be provided at different level ranging from home care, clinic based or at tertiary care services. At every level of services health care professionals play a significant role. Nurses being one of the important member of health care must be the voice to lead at the individual level, policy making table and at the professional level, there by contribute to the goal of achieving Sustainable developmental goals. The volume 3, issue 2 (July 2017) of Manipal journal of Nursing and Health Sciences focuses on different spheres of health care issues. We have considered the original research articles which are focusing on Geriatric population, Knowledge and attitude of Oncology nurses, Supervisory support received by Female Health workers, Skill training program on CPR for adolescents, Mental health promotion program for students, intervention to improve subjective wellbeing of chronic mental ill patients, Foot reflexology for primigravida mother, and nurses knowledge on bioethics. Three review papers and one case report of rare condition add lure to this issue. The editorial team invites the health care professionals to contribute generously in the form of research/original articles, review papers and case reports.
