Abstract
This work investigates the behaviour of polymer matrix beam reinforced with graphene at the nano level to study the aspects of its strength for structural applications. The addition of graphene in the control beams is varied from 0.1-0.4% percent by the weight of the polymer matrix. The dispersion of graphene is carried out using ultrasonic energy. The composite beams are tested under a flexural in order to evaluate their mechanical property. These results will then be compared with those obtained from plain polymer beams.
