Abstract
Molodtsov introduced soft set theory as a versatile mathematical tool for handling uncertainty. However, classical soft sets may not effectively address imprecise and fuzzy parameters. To overcome this limitation, this paper proposes the concept of circular intuitionistic fuzzy soft set theory, which combines circular intuitionistic fuzzy set theory and soft set theory. This paper defines operations such as complement, 'min-AND', 'max-AND', 'min-OR', 'max-OR', 'min-union', 'max-union', 'min-intersection', 'max-intersection', necessity and possibility on circular intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets, and discusses their basic properties. The main objective is to address decision-making problems within the framework of intuitionistic fuzzy soft sets and generalize them to a circular intuitionistic fuzzy soft set-based decision-making approach, aiming for more effective problem modeling and solution.
