Abstract
Purpose: Injuries to the orofacial region are very common experiences during sports in teens and adults. This paper emphasizes on prevalence of dental injuries in the course of sporting actions, functions of mouth guards in prevention of sports injury, properties and types of mouth guards. The development of abilities for processing biological and sports-pedagogical information for masters of physical education and sports is a pressing need in higher education. The article's goal is to raise the theoretical and practical proficiency in statistical data processing among masters of physical education and sports by using the test of the normal law of distribution hypothesis for observed values as an example. Methodology: Researching, assessing, organizing professional and scientific literature, extrapolating knowledge from science, education, and realworld experience, and conducting pedagogical experiments are some of the techniques employed in the research process. The pressure-laminated mouth guard, a customfabricated type, is the most satisfactory when compared with other types of mouth guards. Therefore, it is important to endorse the use of mouth guards to safeguard the smile. Contribution and Advice: Mouth guards are a valuable instrument for sports injuries, and their application in biomedical and sports-pedagogical research guarantees the advancement of the sports sciences. It demonstrates the various types of mouth guards and its implication and its use in dental field to avoid any injuries.
