Abstract
Study Background: The study examines how the COVID-19 pandemic has influenced the adoption of digital technologies in education and the impact of digital competencies on perceived learning and learner agility among higher education students in India.
Research Goals and Hypotheses: The goal is to investigate the relationship between digital competencies (DC) and perceived learning (PL), with learner agility (LA) as a mediating factor. The hypothesis is that higher digital competencies lead to better learning outcomes and agility.
Methodological Approach: A cross-sectional study using the DigiComp 2.1 framework was conducted, involving 359 graduate and post-graduate students. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling and Process Macro 4.0.
Results and Discoveries: The study found significant positive impacts of digital competencies on both perceived learning and learner agility. Higher digital competencies led to better learning outcomes and agility, with a notable positive relationship between agility and learning outcomes.
