Abstract
The current trend of expansion has made maximum utilization of space of prime importance and has received increased attention recently. Soil stabilization improves the problematic soils and makes them meet requirements of the specific engineering projects. Reinforced soil has broad use in many areas of civil engineering, notably in retaining walls, seawalls, dams, bridge abutments, and foundations. The material used in the backfill has to be durable, less corrosive, draining, hard and resistant. The study helps to identify the soil improvised with sustainable material that can be used for backfill along with reinforcements.
