Performance Enhancement of Thermal Systems

Abstract
Generally thermal systems like turbomachinery, solar air heater, heat exchanger etc. have relatively lower system efficiency. Many efforts are made by various researchers to improve the performance of these devices. Currently we are working on the performance enhancement opportunities of centrifugal turbomachines using a couple of design interventions. With the help of available CFD simulation software, it is now possible to analyze the system quickly and get accurate results in par with the experimental results. It is expected that the proposed ideas yield better compressor performance.
