Abstract
The purpose of this research is to explore the key determinants of Solid Waste Management Behavior (SWM) behavior among the Indian youth. The basic hypothesis is that the positive belief has significant influence on pro-environmental behavior. It is also intended to investigate the inter-relationships among variables associated with SWM. The research methodology stems from the pragmatist paradigm with mixed methods approach. The explanatory sequential design will be adopted using a sample size of 625 students from randomly chosen universities. The outcome could be beneficial for policy recommendations to enhance SWM behavior among Indian youths and add to the body of knowledge on the behavioral aspects of SWM.
