Abstract
This research attempts to identify the antecedents of water conservation behavior in Udupi district, Karnataka. Exploration of the dynamics between psychological, situational, and habitual aspects w.r.t., water conservation behavior will be undertaken using the pragmatic paradigm. A holistic model will be developed by integrating existing theories to predict water conservation behavior and also validate the model using the survey data obtained from the consumers. The implications of the study will be in the form of policy recommendations to the concerned authorities to improve water conservation behavior of the citizens.
