Abstract
The study of consumer behaviour involves determining why consumers choose the goods and services they do. It also looks at behaviours and purchase trends of people. Marketers are interested in it, as are others. Consumer behaviour research is not only beneficial to the practioners but also to academicians. All can benefit from understanding consumer behaviour in order to do their duties successfully and satisfy customers' requirements and wishes. As a result, consumer behaviour enhances the efficiency of the entire distribution system. Studying consumer behaviour also helps one deal with competition. It is possible to give greater competitive advantages based on consumer expectations. It helps the organisation strengthen its competitive advantages.
